- Course closure: August 8 – August 23
- Access during this time: Students will not have access to their courses, their teachers, or the ability to submit assignments.
- Courses reopen: August 24 in Brightspace
NOTE: For the ASL course, there is very limited work students can do over the summer as most of the coursework is done via Teams assessments directly with the teacher.
BOL courses are designed as 10‑month courses, with a minimum expected completion timeline of approximately 5 months. If you choose to work on an accelerated timeline, please note that ongoing feedback and marking may not be available, particularly over the summer due to teacher availability. Final marks will only be issued once all work has been reviewed and assessed, which may occur after the summer. As a result, accelerated completion may not align with timelines for course transitions or post-secondary planning.
