TEST WRITING

As part of our commitment to academic integrity and quality assurance, students enrolled in Grade 10–12 core academic courses may be required to complete in-person assessment(s) at the Burnaby Online main office (in the North Burnaby Adult Education Centre at Burnaby North Secondary School; 751 Hammarskjold Drive, Burnaby), or another approved location. This process helps us verify that assessments accurately reflect each student’s individual learning and meet our academic standards.

Some tests are written off-site. Specific testing requirements and procedures are determined by the course teacher.

All tests must be booked through the course teacher. When requesting a test, please include:

  • Your full name

  • Course name and grade

  • Unit or section to be tested

  • Preferred date and time for the assessment

Students are expected to contact their course teacher at least two school days in advance of their preferred test date to allow sufficient time for test preparation and coordination.

Please note that office staff cannot schedule tests; all test bookings must be arranged through the subject teacher.
